HIMANI TIDKE, KESHORE, ZEENA & YIN FANNY GROUP

8th Aug, 2015

From USA and Malaysia

HIMANI TIDKE, KESHORE, ZEENA & YIN FANNY GROUP

25th April 2015, I was on day 6 of a 12-day hike to the Everest Base Camp. At 4600mt/15000ft, a day and a half and 700mt away from the final destination, a massive earthquake of 8.2 magnitude struck killing over 9000 people.Shyam’s ( our guide’s a.k.a our rockstar’s) happy smiling face and words of encouragement kept us safe and motivated to walk down to safety and back home. There is so much I learned from him and the Nepalese. I can’t wait to go back to the Himalayas and its people.

While Nepal is rebuilding and the trails have reopened, Shyam Situala has started his own trekking company. A good business owner starts building when the markets are down.

I highly recommend Sitaula Shyam and his new company Teamhimalaya

I recommend Team Himalaya very highly and my guide Dinesh who offered genuine quality service. I actually did a number of daily walks in the Kathmandu Valley and Dinesh acted as my guide. This young man wants his client to experiment both the culture and the beauty of nature. He is knowledgeable about the different ethnic groups and the diversity of flora and fauna. His enthusiastic and sociable manner allows the client to vibrate to the richness and diversity of Nepal`s unique geographical position. Team Himalaya wishes your experience to be unprecedented, memorable and unforgettable.

The experience Everest Base Camp with Team Himalaya was amazing, very well organised, tough but enjoyable. All the staff were so helpful. I would like to say a big thank you to Raj and his team for doing a great job. Our guides were more than amazing and really made the trip for us helping us every step of the way and guiding us through the paths. It was an adventure of a lifetime. Would definitely recommend this trek and company and team!

I wish had more day in Nepal to enjoy more of this fabulous country to cover more of beautiful interesting places.Enjoyed my time in Nepal thanks for guide and driver making my stay memorable. The flight to Lukla was panoramic although it was short but very exciting.
