This amazing trip “chisapani Nagarkot Hiking and Chitwan Jungle Safari ” starts with a warm welcome on arrival and with impressive and fantastic sightseeing around Kathmandu’s important heritage sites at the famous holy Hindu Pashupatinath Temple adorned with golden pagoda roofs and four silver doors. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and one can observe this spiritual surrounding by the bank of the Bagmati River. From here, the tour leads to the huge Bouddhanath Stupa also called “Little Tibet” where you can observe the Tibetan Buddhist culture and its way of daily life. The tour continues towards the old Kings Palace and its square, steeped with history and many temples and monuments, and then heads to the landmark of Kathmandu Valley, the Swayambhunath Stupa, located west of the city on a hillock offering a superb panorama of Kathmandu Valley. The stupa stands tall with rolling green hills and snow-capped mountains towards the north. The stupa is one of the oldest with 2,500 years of history.

The next morning, we start the journey with an interesting drive towards the east of Kathmandu to Sundarijal at 1,460 meters high, from here, we hike uphill through several Tamang villages and farmlands with a pristine forest of rhododendrons, magnolias, pines, and oaks trees. Walk then continues reaching Chisapani 2,340 meters, the highest spot of this trip “chisapani Nagarkot Hiking and Chitwan Jungle Safari tour” which offers stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range from Annapurna, Manaslu towards West Langtang and Jugal Himal with stunning sunrise and sunset views. The walk then leads along the ridgeline to Nagarkot with awesome mountain scenery on the route hike and eventually ending the long day walk at Nagarkot. Day 1 :  Arrive in Kathmandu received by Team Himalaya staff.

On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our staff will receive with warm welcome with garland and transfer to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city and check into nice respective hotels, after refreshment our guide and staff will brief you with information regarding your Nagarkot Hiking & Jungle Safari Tour with us. Evening dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with folk dance programs of various ethnic tribes of Nepal.

Day 2 : In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.

The morning after breakfast at the given time our city and cultural guide will guide you in and around Kathmandu at places of interest and importance, as Kathmandu Valley is full of World Heritage Sites the holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, preparation for a hike to North of Kathmandu Valley Ridge around picturesque Chisapani and Nagarkot hills.

Day 3 : Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani 2,340 m – 04hrs.

Starting this wonderful outdoor journey with a morning short drive towards the eastern Kathmandu valley rim at Sundarijal, situated 15 k.m. from Kathmandu city, from The hike begins with an uphill walk through small farm villages, a beautiful cascade of waterfalls and reaches an entrance of Shivapuri National Park, from here through a patch of forest and passing many scattered farm fields and villages then reaching the ridge top at Chisopani where the air gets cooler at 2,300 meters high, overlooking a grand panorama of snow-capped mountains from Annapurna-Manaslu-Ganesh Himal, Lang tang Himal towards Jugal Himal range with views of Kathmandu valley below this scenic ridge line, Chisapani offers stunning sunrise views in a clear early morning.

Day 4 : Trek to Nagarkot 2,100m – 05 hrs.

After a wonderful morning with great views of the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, the morning starts with a pleasant walk on a gradual winding path into enchanting rhododendron, oaks, and pines forest with some downhill path to Chowki-bhanjyang, a small farm village overlooking eastern side of the Kathmandu valley rim, with a nice stop here with lunch break walk continues on a gradual trail for few hours through the village of Jarsing Pawa at 1,700 m, from this nice looking village our route diverts towards uphill for an hour then finally ending the days walk at Nagarkot. Nagarkot, located at an elevation of 2,100 meters, this hilltop is famous for stunning sunrises and sunset views reflecting its light on an array of snow-capped mountains from Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal Himal, Gauri Shanker extending towards the eastern horizon around Everest range of mountains.

Day 5 : Drive to Chitwan National Park- 06 hrs journey.

From Nagarkot catching views of striking sunrise over the beautiful snow-capped mountains, our next thrilling and exciting adventure begins with an interesting drive towards the lower flatlands of Nepal known as Terai, where the temperature is warm with a sub-tropical climate. Drive leads through many farm villages and towns following the Trisuli River most of the way as the rolling hills meet the lowlands of Terai in the Chitwan area, enriched with fertile agriculture fields and vast jungles.
After an enjoyable ride of more than 5 hours reaching Asia’s best National Park in Chitwan, on arrival transfer into the best jungle lodges/resort where the naturalist and guide will receive a warm welcome and brief you with jungle safari programs and do’s and don’ts.
Afternoon a leisure introductory walk in peaceful surroundings visiting the buffer zone of the National Park where all the hotels, lodges,s, and resorts are located.
With a few hours of interesting walk back to the hotel, an evening with cultural local folk programs, or a slide show of the park and wildlife followed by an excellent dinner.

Day 6 : Full Day Jungle activities and elephant safari.

Morning starts early by the break of dawn with various jungle activities which include elephant safari, jungle walks, or bird watching, after a great refreshing morning tour, after breakfast with some rest activities continue with elephant bathing/briefing or a dugout canoe ride on Rapti river downstream in search of Gangetic Gharial and Marsh Mugger Crocodiles with many water birds life including King Fisher, Ruddysal ducks, storks and egrets. Late afternoon with lunch breaks another jungle program with elephant safari, jungle walks, or jungle drive. Chitwan offers striking sunsets with its amazing landscapes and rivers, late evening wither slide shows, or Tharu Stick cultural dance with a great buffet dinner. Chitwan National Park of 932 sq. km area is one of the oldest and most popular National Parks in Nepal, located within the inner subtropical Terai lowlands of Southern-Central Nepal. The park was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984. The Park covers a pristine area with a unique eco-system of significant value to the world. It contains the Churia hills, ox-bow lakes, and flood plains of the rivers Rapti, Reu, and Narayani.
Approximately 70 % of the park's vegetation is covered by Sal forests. The remaining vegetation types include 20 % of grassland, 7 % of riverine forest, and 3% of sal with chirping. The latter are found in the Churia (Siwalik) range. Which are the low hills after the Terai flatlands? The riverine forests mainly consist of khair, sissoo, and simal or kapok (the silk cotton tree). The grasslands are a diverse and complex community with over 50 species. The Saccharun species, popularly known as elephant grass, can reach 8 m in height.
The shorter grasses such as Imperata are used by the locals for thatch roofs; there are more than 43 species of mammals in the park. The Park is famous for the endangered and elusive “Royal Bengal Tiger”. The park is home to the one-horned Indian Rhinoceros, fresh water Gharial crocodile along with many other common species such as gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four-horned antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins, monitor lizards and pythons.
Other wildlife found in the park include sambars, chital (spotted deer) barking deer, sloth bear, palm civets, languor, and rhesus monkeys, the park is also famous for over 450 species of birds. Among the endangered birds are the Bengal florican, the Giant Hornbill, the Lesser Florican, the Black Stork, and the White Stork.
Common birds seen in the park include Peafowl, Red Jungle fowl, and different species of Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flycatchers, and Woodpeckers, the best time for bird watching is around March and December. More than 45 species of amphibians and reptiles have been recorded in the park, some of which are the Marsh mugger Crocodile, cobras Green Pit Viper, and various species of frogs and tortoises; Chitwan National Park is also an educational field for botanists and zoologists alike.

Day 7 : Drive back to Kathmandu – Approx: 05 hrs journey.

Morning with refreshing activities and breakfast depart from Chitwan on the same route, as the drive leads towards the mid hills following the Trisuli River up streams, as drive climbs on the winding road reaching the Kathmandu valley rim at Nagdhunga and then towards the entrance to Kathmandu city at Thankot, from here a short drive leads into the busy traffic road and back to respective hotels, after a great time in Chitwan, late afternoon free at leisure with evening farewell dinner in a nice Nepali restaurant or similar with excellent meals.
Day 08: International departure homeward bound.
Last day in Nepal after a wonderful and enjoyable Nagarkot Hiking & Jungle Safari Tour with Team Himalaya, as per your flight time transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to respective destinations.

Team Himalaya's list of outdoor equipment requirements is in the following list order depending upon the type of holidays chosen leisure tours, moderate, adventurous to challenging trekking, and climbs.

Gear required depends upon the season of travel as well as the grade of travel and trekking as Nepal is for all seasons except the wet months of July to mid-September when few travelers visit Nepal.

For Simple Sightseeing Tours in Kathmandu and beyond:
Personal Toiletries, a small day pack or bag to carry your personal belongings that as water bottles, cameras, wallets, maps, journey/notebooks, cell phones, light jackets, or fleece and insect repellent cream as per the season.

Running /sports shoes or comfortable shoes for short walks, for elderly people walking poles, personal medication, binoculars as an option, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, trousers (while entering temples and monasteries) sunscreens.

Sun Hats, Sunglasses, for long drives soft inflatable cushion/pillow, is advisable as options, and rainproof or umbrella.

For Moderate Hikes and Treks:
Personal Toiletries, a moderate size daypack to carry your personal belongings that as water bottles, cameras, wallets, maps, journey/notebooks, cell phones, light jackets or fleece and insect repellent as per the season.

Running/sports shoes, for elderly people walking poles, personal medication, binoculars an option, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, trousers (while entering temples and monasteries) sunscreens, and torch/flashlights.

Sun Hats, Sunglasses, and water bottles are necessary (try to avoid plastic bottled water as they make litter which is hard to recycle in Nepal) use the same waterfalls to refill your bottle where available, rainproof or umbrella. Scarf or mask to avoid dust and smoke.

Along with the completed form, you are required to e-mail your passport copy and flight Ticket with all details to us in the Kathmandu office at Team Himalaya (info@teamhimalaya.com).

Upon receiving your passport copy and details with the completed booking form Plus your non-refundable deposit, we will proceed and send you a final affirmation receipt with acknowledgment.

All deposits are required for selected and chosen trips on per personal basis, we will inform you by e-mail regarding the direct deposit procedure and details.

As per the booking and Trip money transfer, service charges of respective banks might apply and they should be paid at the time of deposit.

We will e-mail you the details on making payments through your credit card once you have filled up the Booking form.

We accept Visa or MasterCard only with a 4% surcharge added as a processing fee on credit cards and wire Transfers as a service charged by the Banks.

The Condition for clearing the remaining balance as per the trip booked is as follows:

The remaining due balance for all Nepal Trips should be paid and cleared upon arrival.
The remaining balance for other Himalayan countries like Bhutan, and Tibet, and all multi-country tours needs to be cleared within 35 days prior to your trip departure dates.
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd reserves the right to cancel your trip if the full amount is not paid on time.

In certain circumstances, we will accept your last-hour booking a minimum of a week prior to the tour departure date for all the trips, in this case, full payment is required.

03: Refund & Cancellation:

No refund will be made by the company for the 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of your trip for any whatsoever or other reasons.

After having paid the full amount of any selected trip, you are entitled to incur a refund in case you want to cancel your trip by informing us earliest as possible to make the charge reasonable as per the company rules and regulations.

Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you have imposed a cancellation charge as advised below:-

45 – 50 days before departure 50%
30 – 40 days before departure 75%
20 days before departure 100%

04: Extra Supplement Charge:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd tour/trek packages, rooms, or tents are provided on twin sharing basis. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed as extra for a client who does not have another tour participant to share a room/tent with. It also applies to clients who need a single supplement in tents/rooms in a hotel or lodge.

05: Early return from any Tours or Treks:

No refund will be entertained to clients on early return from our trips due to personal domestic/medical or personal problems from any other trips regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

06: Amendment in Trip Cost:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserves the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted on our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance, changes in exchange rate, government action, etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.

07: Unforeseen Circumstances:

If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable climate, broken trail, and roads, etc., we will refer you for an alternative trip of similar types and standard.

Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your likes and interests, all trip prices paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.

Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

08:  Travel / Medical Insurance:

We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as a compulsion in all our tours and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour/trekking/climbing/rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

09: Health & Fitness:

All our Treks and Tours require sound health and a level of fitness before signing a booking with us, Clients should always check with their local Doctor or Physician regarding their health and fitness before the trip departs to Himalayan destinations.
It’s solely the client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.

Children and Elderly people:

An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.
A person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member, or friends to accompany him/her.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:

It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months of validity from the return date of travel.

Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are the sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.

11: Risk and Liabilities:

Team Himalaya's main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignments sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel hassle-free without any problems.

Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, the trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival, sickness or accidents, etc. Any extra cost incurred there is our personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.

Flight Delay/Cancellation:

Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.

Trekking in remote areas or in as described above, especially during the off-season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences.

In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to bear accommodation and food costs yourself.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions will ensure to make every effort comfortable and satisfactory in all our trips, but one must understand that Himalayan or Third World and Developing Countries like Nepal cannot afford much of Western and highly timed facilities sometimes depending upon the area of travel, however, we will try our best to make your travel enjoyable with memorable time while with us.

Weather is another factor that directly impacts some trips, hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm, and proper preparation before heading is a must.

Your personal belongings:

On any account, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage/luggage or property even when it is shouldered by our porters, ponies, or vehicles. Our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions so that this does not arise while with us.

Papers & Documents:

This amazing trip “chisapani Nagarkot Hiking and Chitwan Jungle Safari ” starts with a warm welcome on arrival and with impressive and fantastic sightseeing around Kathmandu’s important heritage sites at the famous holy Hindu Pashupatinath Temple adorned with golden pagoda roofs and four silver doors. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and one can observe this spiritual surrounding by the bank of the Bagmati River. From here, the tour leads to the huge Bouddhanath Stupa also called “Little Tibet” where you can observe the Tibetan Buddhist culture and its way of daily life. The tour continues towards the old Kings Palace and its square, steeped with history and many temples and monuments, and then heads to the landmark of Kathmandu Valley, the Swayambhunath Stupa, located west of the city on a hillock offering a superb panorama of Kathmandu Valley. The stupa stands tall with rolling green hills and snow-capped mountains towards the north. The stupa is one of the oldest with 2,500 years of history.

The next morning, we start the journey with an interesting drive towards the east of Kathmandu to Sundarijal at 1,460 meters high, from here, we hike uphill through several Tamang villages and farmlands with a pristine forest of rhododendrons, magnolias, pines, and oaks trees. Walk then continues reaching Chisapani 2,340 meters, the highest spot of this trip “chisapani Nagarkot Hiking and Chitwan Jungle Safari tour” which offers stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range from Annapurna, Manaslu towards West Langtang and Jugal Himal with stunning sunrise and sunset views. The walk then leads along the ridgeline to Nagarkot with awesome mountain scenery on the route hike and eventually ending the long day walk at Nagarkot. Itinerary Detail

Day 1 :  Arrive in Kathmandu received by Team Himalaya staff.

On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our staff will receive with warm welcome with garland and transfer to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city and check into nice respective hotels, after refreshment our guide and staff will brief you with information regarding your Nagarkot Hiking & Jungle Safari Tour with us. Evening dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with folk dance programs of various ethnic tribes of Nepal.

Day 2 : In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.

The morning after breakfast at the given time our city and cultural guide will guide you in and around Kathmandu at places of interest and importance, as Kathmandu Valley is full of World Heritage Sites the holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, preparation for a hike to North of Kathmandu Valley Ridge around picturesque Chisapani and Nagarkot hills.

Day 3 : Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani 2,340 m – 04hrs.

Starting this wonderful outdoor journey with a morning short drive towards the eastern Kathmandu valley rim at Sundarijal, situated 15 k.m. from Kathmandu city, from The hike begins with an uphill walk through small farm villages, a beautiful cascade of waterfalls and reaches an entrance of Shivapuri National Park, from here through a patch of forest and passing many scattered farm fields and villages then reaching the ridge top at Chisopani where the air gets cooler at 2,300 meters high, overlooking a grand panorama of snow-capped mountains from Annapurna-Manaslu-Ganesh Himal, Lang tang Himal towards Jugal Himal range with views of Kathmandu valley below this scenic ridge line, Chisapani offers stunning sunrise views in a clear early morning.

Day 4 : Trek to Nagarkot 2,100m – 05 hrs.

After a wonderful morning with great views of the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, the morning starts with a pleasant walk on a gradual winding path into enchanting rhododendron, oaks, and pines forest with some downhill path to Chowki-bhanjyang, a small farm village overlooking eastern side of the Kathmandu valley rim, with a nice stop here with lunch break walk continues on a gradual trail for few hours through the village of Jarsing Pawa at 1,700 m, from this nice looking village our route diverts towards uphill for an hour then finally ending the days walk at Nagarkot. Nagarkot, located at an elevation of 2,100 meters, this hilltop is famous for stunning sunrises and sunset views reflecting its light on an array of snow-capped mountains from Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal Himal, Gauri Shanker extending towards the eastern horizon around Everest range of mountains.

Day 5 : Drive to Chitwan National Park- 06 hrs journey.

From Nagarkot catching views of striking sunrise over the beautiful snow-capped mountains, our next thrilling and exciting adventure begins with an interesting drive towards the lower flatlands of Nepal known as Terai, where the temperature is warm with a sub-tropical climate. Drive leads through many farm villages and towns following the Trisuli River most of the way as the rolling hills meet the lowlands of Terai in the Chitwan area, enriched with fertile agriculture fields and vast jungles.
After an enjoyable ride of more than 5 hours reaching Asia’s best National Park in Chitwan, on arrival transfer into the best jungle lodges/resort where the naturalist and guide will receive a warm welcome and brief you with jungle safari programs and do’s and don’ts.
Afternoon a leisure introductory walk in peaceful surroundings visiting the buffer zone of the National Park where all the hotels, lodges,s, and resorts are located.
With a few hours of interesting walk back to the hotel, an evening with cultural local folk programs, or a slide show of the park and wildlife followed by an excellent dinner.

Day 6 : Full Day Jungle activities and elephant safari.

Morning starts early by the break of dawn with various jungle activities which include elephant safari, jungle walks, or bird watching, after a great refreshing morning tour, after breakfast with some rest activities continue with elephant bathing/briefing or a dugout canoe ride on Rapti river downstream in search of Gangetic Gharial and Marsh Mugger Crocodiles with many water birds life including King Fisher, Ruddysal ducks, storks and egrets. Late afternoon with lunch breaks another jungle program with elephant safari, jungle walks, or jungle drive. Chitwan offers striking sunsets with its amazing landscapes and rivers, late evening wither slide shows, or Tharu Stick cultural dance with a great buffet dinner. Chitwan National Park of 932 sq. km area is one of the oldest and most popular National Parks in Nepal, located within the inner subtropical Terai lowlands of Southern-Central Nepal. The park was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984. The Park covers a pristine area with a unique eco-system of significant value to the world. It contains the Churia hills, ox-bow lakes, and flood plains of the rivers Rapti, Reu, and Narayani.
Approximately 70 % of the park's vegetation is covered by Sal forests. The remaining vegetation types include 20 % of grassland, 7 % of riverine forest, and 3% of sal with chirping. The latter are found in the Churia (Siwalik) range. Which are the low hills after the Terai flatlands? The riverine forests mainly consist of khair, sissoo, and simal or kapok (the silk cotton tree). The grasslands are a diverse and complex community with over 50 species. The Saccharun species, popularly known as elephant grass, can reach 8 m in height.
The shorter grasses such as Imperata are used by the locals for thatch roofs; there are more than 43 species of mammals in the park. The Park is famous for the endangered and elusive “Royal Bengal Tiger”. The park is home to the one-horned Indian Rhinoceros, fresh water Gharial crocodile along with many other common species such as gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four-horned antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins, monitor lizards and pythons.
Other wildlife found in the park include sambars, chital (spotted deer) barking deer, sloth bear, palm civets, languor, and rhesus monkeys, the park is also famous for over 450 species of birds. Among the endangered birds are the Bengal florican, the Giant Hornbill, the Lesser Florican, the Black Stork, and the White Stork.
Common birds seen in the park include Peafowl, Red Jungle fowl, and different species of Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flycatchers, and Woodpeckers, the best time for bird watching is around March and December. More than 45 species of amphibians and reptiles have been recorded in the park, some of which are the Marsh mugger Crocodile, cobras Green Pit Viper, and various species of frogs and tortoises; Chitwan National Park is also an educational field for botanists and zoologists alike.

Day 7 : Drive back to Kathmandu – Approx: 05 hrs journey.

Morning with refreshing activities and breakfast depart from Chitwan on the same route, as the drive leads towards the mid hills following the Trisuli River up streams, as drive climbs on the winding road reaching the Kathmandu valley rim at Nagdhunga and then towards the entrance to Kathmandu city at Thankot, from here a short drive leads into the busy traffic road and back to respective hotels, after a great time in Chitwan, late afternoon free at leisure with evening farewell dinner in a nice Nepali restaurant or similar with excellent meals.
Day 08: International departure homeward bound.
Last day in Nepal after a wonderful and enjoyable Nagarkot Hiking & Jungle Safari Tour with Team Himalaya, as per your flight time transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to respective destinations.

Gear required depends upon the season of travel as well as the grade of travel and trekking as Nepal is for all seasons except the wet months of July to mid-September when few travelers visit Nepal.

Personal Toiletries, a small day pack or bag to carry your personal belongings that as water bottles, cameras, wallets, maps, journey/notebooks, cell phones, light jackets, or fleece and insect repellent cream as per the season.

Running /sports shoes or comfortable shoes for short walks, for elderly people walking poles, personal medication, binoculars as an option, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, trousers (while entering temples and monasteries) sunscreens.

Sun Hats, Sunglasses, for long drives soft inflatable cushion/pillow, is advisable as options, and rainproof or umbrella.

For Moderate Hikes and Treks:
Personal Toiletries, a moderate size daypack to carry your personal belongings that as water bottles, cameras, wallets, maps, journey/notebooks, cell phones, light jackets or fleece and insect repellent as per the season.

Running/sports shoes, for elderly people walking poles, personal medication, binoculars an option, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, trousers (while entering temples and monasteries) sunscreens, and torch/flashlights.

Sun Hats, Sunglasses, and water bottles are necessary (try to avoid plastic bottled water as they make litter which is hard to recycle in Nepal) use the same waterfalls to refill your bottle where available, rainproof or umbrella. Scarf or mask to avoid dust and smoke.

Upon receiving your passport copy and details with the completed booking form Plus your non-refundable deposit, we will proceed and send you a final affirmation receipt with acknowledgment.

All deposits are required for selected and chosen trips on per personal basis, we will inform you by e-mail regarding the direct deposit procedure and details.

As per the booking and Trip money transfer, service charges of respective banks might apply and they should be paid at the time of deposit.

We will e-mail you the details on making payments through your credit card once you have filled up the Booking form.

We accept Visa or MasterCard only with a 4% surcharge added as a processing fee on credit cards and wire Transfers as a service charged by the Banks.

The Condition for clearing the remaining balance as per the trip booked is as follows:

The remaining due balance for all Nepal Trips should be paid and cleared upon arrival.
The remaining balance for other Himalayan countries like Bhutan, and Tibet, and all multi-country tours needs to be cleared within 35 days prior to your trip departure dates.

In certain circumstances, we will accept your last-hour booking a minimum of a week prior to the tour departure date for all the trips, in this case, full payment is required.

03: Refund & Cancellation:

No refund will be made by the company for the 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of your trip for any whatsoever or other reasons.

After having paid the full amount of any selected trip, you are entitled to incur a refund in case you want to cancel your trip by informing us earliest as possible to make the charge reasonable as per the company rules and regulations.

Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you have imposed a cancellation charge as advised below:-

45 – 50 days before departure 50%
30 – 40 days before departure 75%
20 days before departure 100%

04: Extra Supplement Charge:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd tour/trek packages, rooms, or tents are provided on twin sharing basis. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed as extra for a client who does not have another tour participant to share a room/tent with. It also applies to clients who need a single supplement in tents/rooms in a hotel or lodge.

05: Early return from any Tours or Treks:

No refund will be entertained to clients on early return from our trips due to personal domestic/medical or personal problems from any other trips regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

06: Amendment in Trip Cost:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserves the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted on our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance, changes in exchange rate, government action, etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.

07: Unforeseen Circumstances:

If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable climate, broken trail, and roads, etc., we will refer you for an alternative trip of similar types and standard.

Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your likes and interests, all trip prices paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.

Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

08:  Travel / Medical Insurance:

We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as a compulsion in all our tours and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour/trekking/climbing/rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

09: Health & Fitness:

All our Treks and Tours require sound health and a level of fitness before signing a booking with us, Clients should always check with their local Doctor or Physician regarding their health and fitness before the trip departs to Himalayan destinations.
It’s solely the client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.

Children and Elderly people:

An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.
A person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member, or friends to accompany him/her.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:

It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months of validity from the return date of travel.

Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are the sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.

11: Risk and Liabilities:

Team Himalaya's main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignments sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel hassle-free without any problems.

Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, the trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival, sickness or accidents, etc. Any extra cost incurred there is our personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.

Flight Delay/Cancellation:

Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.

Trekking in remote areas or in as described above, especially during the off-season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences.

In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to bear accommodation and food costs yourself.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions will ensure to make every effort comfortable and satisfactory in all our trips, but one must understand that Himalayan or Third World and Developing Countries like Nepal cannot afford much of Western and highly timed facilities sometimes depending upon the area of travel, however, we will try our best to make your travel enjoyable with memorable time while with us.

Weather is another factor that directly impacts some trips, hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm, and proper preparation before heading is a must.

Your personal belongings:

On any account, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage/luggage or property even when it is shouldered by our porters, ponies, or vehicles. Our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions so that this does not arise while with us.

Papers & Documents:
