Bhutan Jumolhari Trek is trekking to an untouched area of Bhutan where one can experience solitude and wilderness along with breathtaking mountain peaks including Jumolhari, Bhutan’s Mountain Goddess. Passing through lush rhododendrons and pines, picturesque traditional villages, and hospitable peoples, terraced fields of rice, wheat, and barley will be a striking experience. We also pass via settlements inhabited by migratory yak herders then ultimately we get to the Base Camp of Jumolhari and its neighbor Jichu Drake. Jumolhari Base Camp is a vantage point to witness stunning mountain peaks and awe-inspiring landscapes.

We begin our Bhutan Jumolhari Trek from Paro. Then, we start our real hiking through beautiful traditional villages visiting hospitable people in the locality. We also pass via lush vegetation capturing diverse species of flora and faunas including, blue sheep, Takin, and a variety of birds, perhaps under the surveillance of the elusive snow leopard. This remote wilderness and solitude will, of course, please you all tremendously. Besides, one can witness Himalayan freshwater lakes with serene and virgin nature which have remained unspoiled for the past thousands of years. The holy and historical monasteries you encounter during the trek encompass the spiritual happy life of the Bhutanese people. If anyone is interested, they can learn Buddhism. And ultimately get to Jumolhari Base Camp which provides us an opportunity to seize splendid views of snow-fed peaks. The fluttering prayer flags will equally stun your inner and outer cameras.

At the ending section of this Bhutan Jumolhari trek, we have plenty of time to explore the serene capital city of Thimpu with no traffic lights. Here, our optimum utilization of time is exploring traditional culture and civilization, art and architecture, friendly and patient people, and also interested can do shopping for some souvenirs. We end this trip again at Paro.

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu received by Team Himalaya staff.

On arrival meet our TH staff for a courtesy transfer to respective hotels in the heart of Kathmandu at the Thamel area, an interesting place for shopping and having meals in one of the many world-class restaurants, pubs, and bakeries.

Day 2 : In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.

Morning after breakfast at a given time our city and cultural guide will guide you in and around Kathmandu at places of interest and importance, as Kathmandu Valley is full of World Heritage Sites the holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, preparation for the trip to Bhutan Tour & Jumolhari Trek.

Day 3 : Fly to Paro-Bhutan via Druk Air and transfer to hotel.

As per the flight time for Paro, Bhutan, Team Himalaya staff will transfer you to Kathmandu International Airport for a nice and scenic flight to Paro on reaching Paro airport after immigration and visa formalities our Bhutan guide will meet and receive you in a Bhutanese traditional way and for the drive to respective hotels in Paro, with afternoon free at leisure.

Day 4 : In Paro 2,280m / 7,524 ft for sightseeing tour.

Soon after breakfast, our Bhutan guide will receive you at the hotel, for a nice and pleasant walk with an hour or less climb up on a slow easy pace to a famous Taksang Monastery (Tiger’s nest). Offering amazing views of Paro and distance snow-capped peaks, after a wonderful time here descend by the same route, afternoon visit of 17th century Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967.

Day 5 : In Paro visit Druk Gyaldzong.

In Paro one of the major towns of Bhutan full of historical cultural and heritage sites, our guide will take you on a full-day tour of Paro visiting a ruined fort built to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders in the 17th century. After an interest in Druk Gyaldzong, a late afternoon tour of the National Museum which displays rich collections of fine arts weapons.

Day 6 : Drive and trek to Shana 2,800 m (17 k.m.) – 06 hrs.

After breakfast, drive up to Drugyel dzong where the road ends and the trek begins by following the Pa Chu River gently uphill through a narrowing valley. Camp is just beyond an Army Post.

Day 7 : Trek to Soi Thankthangka 3,600 meters (21 k.m.) – 08 hrs.

Continue uphill through the river valley, it narrows and closes in and the trail winds up and down along the waterway. Camp is in a meadow with a stone shelter built for trekkers.

Day 8 : Trek to Jangothang 4,040 m (19 k.m.) – 06 hrs.

On up the Pa Chu River passing a small army post, where the valley opens and widens again, with a beautiful view of the high ridges and then the snow-capped peaks located all around. From here on begin to see Yaks and the yak herders’ camp.

Day 9 : At Jangothang for local hike.

Trek up to Tsophu or there are stupendous day hikes in three directions. Jhumolhari and its subsidiary are directly west, Jichu Drake to the north, and unclimbed summits and ridges to the east.

Day 10 : Trek to Lingshi 4,150 m (19 k.m.) – 06 hrs.

Morning walks on the wide yak pastures all the way up and then down the pass, possibly see some people in their Yak Hair Tents depending on the time of the year you are there, stunning view of Lingshi Dzong as you come down into the Lingshi basin if the weather is clear. Tserim Gang and its descending glaciers at the north end of the valley.
Overnight camp in a stone shelter built for trekkers, it has an inside fire pit and you can sleep on a wooden floor or in tents.

Day 11 :  At Lingshi local excursion up to 4,500 m (15 k.m.) – 04 hrs.

A Day excursion to Tshokha (lake) i.e., base camp for Jichu Drake. During the excursion, it is possible to see hundreds of Blue Sheep and Musk Deer.

Day 12 : Trek to Shodu 3,963 m (22 k.m.) – 08 hrs.

The trail ascends up to the Yalila Pass (4820 m.) from the Mount Jhumolhari. On a clear day, Tserim Kang and Masagang can be seen. Camp is in a stone shelter.

Day 13 : Trek to Barshong 3,785 m (13 k.m.) – 04 hrs.

Follow the Thimphu Chu River through the thick forest of Rhododendrons and waterfalls. It narrows and closes in and the trail winds up and down along the waterway. Ascending up to the ruins of Barshong dzong, camp is just below the ruined dzong with a stone shelter.

Day 14 : Trek to Dolam Kencho 3,628 m (11 k.m) – 04 hrs.

The morning walk leads to a long descent to meet Thimphu River following gradually through the forest of rhododendrons and ascending up to the pastureland for overnight camp in a meadow.

Day 15 : Trek and drive to Thimphu 2,320m – 05 hrs.

Our journey continues with an uphill to a small pass and then the trail winds up and down along the waterway. Wild animals, such as the Languor, can be seen. At Dodina, meet the transportation vehicle for the drive to Thimpu and a in a nice comfortable hotel.

Day 16 : At Thimphu for guided tour and sight seeing.

At Thimphu a full day of sightseeing and shopping, wandering in the town, visiting the Handicraft Development Center, and afternoon time visit of Memorial Chorten, and Zilukha Nunnery.

Day 17 : Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.

Depending upon the flight time to Kathmandu or other respective destination route, our Bhutan guide will transfer you to Paro airport for the flight back to your respective destination to connect with your other international flight to Delhi onwards or back to Kathmandu, on reaching Kathmandu airport Team Himalaya staff will meet for a transfer back to respective hotels.

Day 18 : International departure homeward bound.

Along with the completed form, you are required to e-mail your passport copy and flight Ticket with all details to us in the Kathmandu office at Team Himalaya (info@teamhimalaya.com).

Upon receiving your passport copy and details with the completed booking form Plus your non-refundable deposit, we will proceed and send you a final affirmation receipt with acknowledgment.

All deposits are required for selected and chosen trips on per per-person basis, we will inform you by e-mail regarding the direct deposit procedure and details.

As per the booking and Trip money transfer, service charges of respective banks might apply and they should be paid at the time of deposit.

We will e-mail you the details on making payments through your credit card once you have filled up the Booking form.

We accept Visa or MasterCard only with a 4% surcharge added as a processing fee on credit cards and wire Transfers as a service charged by the Banks.

The Condition for clearing the remaining balance as per the trip booked is as follows:

The remaining due balance for all Nepal Trips should be paid and cleared upon arrival.

The remaining balance for other Himalayan countries like Bhutan, and Tibet, and all multi-country tours needs to be cleared within 35 days prior to your trip departure dates.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd reserves the right to cancel your trip if the full amount is not paid on time.

In certain circumstances, we will accept your last-hour booking a minimum of a week prior to the tour departure date for all the trips, in this case, full payment is required.

03: Refund & Cancellation:

No refund will be made by the company for the 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of your trip for any whatsoever or other reasons.

After having paid the full amount of any selected trip, you are entitled to incur a refund in case you want to cancel your trip by informing us earliest as possible to make the charge reasonable as per the company rules and regulations.

Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you have imposed a cancellation charge as advised below:-

45 – 50 days before departure 50%
30 – 40 days before departure 75%
20 days before departure 100%

04: Extra Supplement Charge:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd tour/trek packages, rooms, or tents are provided on twin sharing basis. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed as extra for a client who does not have another tour participant to share a room/tent with. It also applies to clients who need a single supplement in tents/rooms in a hotel or lodge.

05: Early return from any Tours or Treks:

No refund will be entertained to clients on early return from our trips due to personal domestic/medical or personal problems from any other trips regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

06: Amendment in Trip Cost:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserves the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted on our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance, changes in exchange rate, government action, etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.

07: Unforeseen Circumstances:

If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable climate, broken trail, and roads, etc., we will refer you for an alternative trip of similar types and standard.

Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your likes and interests, all trip prices paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.

Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

08:  Travel / Medical Insurance:

We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as a compulsion in all our tours and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour/trekking/climbing/rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

09: Health & Fitness:

All our Treks and Tours require sound health and a level of fitness before signing the booking with us, the client should always check with your local Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departs to Himalayan destinations.

It’s solely the client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.

Children and Elderly people:

An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.

A person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member, or friends to accompany him/her.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:

It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months of validity from the return date of travel.

Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are the sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.

11: Risk and Liabilities:

Team Himalaya's main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignments sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel hassle-free without any problems.

Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, the trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival, sickness or accidents, etc. Any extra cost incurred there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.

Flight Delay/Cancellation:

Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.

Trekking in remote areas or in as described above, especially during the off-season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences.

In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to bear accommodation and food costs yourself.

12: Our Responsible Adventure Policy:

Our entire tour/trekking guide representing Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions deserves all authority during tours and trekking/rafting or on climbs.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions will ensure to make every effort comfortable and satisfactory in all our trips, but one must understand that Himalayan or Third World and Developing Countries like Nepal cannot afford much of Western and highly timed facilities sometimes depending upon the area of travel, however, we will try our best to make your travel enjoyable with memorable time while with us.

Weather is another factor that directly impacts some trips, hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm, and proper preparation before heading is a must.

Your personal belongings:

On any account, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage/luggage or property even when it is shouldered by our porters, ponies, or vehicles. Our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions so that this does not arise while with us.

Papers & Documents:

All necessary papers and documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visas, necessary permits, etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not being completed in time before the trip departs in the absence of essential papers and documents.

Day 2 : In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.

Morning after breakfast at a given time our city and cultural guide will guide you in and around Kathmandu at places of interest and importance, as Kathmandu Valley is full of World Heritage Sites the holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, preparation for the trip to Bhutan Tour & Jumolhari Trek.

Day 3 : Fly to Paro-Bhutan via Druk Air and transfer to hotel.

As per the flight time for Paro, Bhutan, Team Himalaya staff will transfer you to Kathmandu International Airport for a nice and scenic flight to Paro on reaching Paro airport after immigration and visa formalities our Bhutan guide will meet and receive you in a Bhutanese traditional way and for the drive to respective hotels in Paro, with afternoon free at leisure.

Day 4 : In Paro 2,280m / 7,524 ft for sightseeing tour.

Soon after breakfast, our Bhutan guide will receive you at the hotel, for a nice and pleasant walk with an hour or less climb up on a slow easy pace to a famous Taksang Monastery (Tiger’s nest). Offering amazing views of Paro and distance snow-capped peaks, after a wonderful time here descend by the same route, afternoon visit of 17th century Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967.

Day 5 : In Paro visit Druk Gyaldzong.

In Paro one of the major towns of Bhutan full of historical cultural and heritage sites, our guide will take you on a full-day tour of Paro visiting a ruined fort built to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders in the 17th century. After an interest in Druk Gyaldzong, a late afternoon tour of the National Museum which displays rich collections of fine arts weapons.

Day 6 : Drive and trek to Shana 2,800 m (17 k.m.) – 06 hrs.

After breakfast, drive up to Drugyel dzong where the road ends and the trek begins by following the Pa Chu River gently uphill through a narrowing valley. Camp is just beyond an Army Post.

Day 7 : Trek to Soi Thankthangka 3,600 meters (21 k.m.) – 08 hrs.

Continue uphill through the river valley, it narrows and closes in and the trail winds up and down along the waterway. Camp is in a meadow with a stone shelter built for trekkers.

Day 8 : Trek to Jangothang 4,040 m (19 k.m.) – 06 hrs.

On up the Pa Chu River passing a small army post, where the valley opens and widens again, with a beautiful view of the high ridges and then the snow-capped peaks located all around. From here on begin to see Yaks and the yak herders’ camp.

Day 9 : At Jangothang for local hike.

Trek up to Tsophu or there are stupendous day hikes in three directions. Jhumolhari and its subsidiary are directly west, Jichu Drake to the north, and unclimbed summits and ridges to the east.

Day 10 : Trek to Lingshi 4,150 m (19 k.m.) – 06 hrs.

Morning walks on the wide yak pastures all the way up and then down the pass, possibly see some people in their Yak Hair Tents depending on the time of the year you are there, stunning view of Lingshi Dzong as you come down into the Lingshi basin if the weather is clear. Tserim Gang and its descending glaciers at the north end of the valley.
Overnight camp in a stone shelter built for trekkers, it has an inside fire pit and you can sleep on a wooden floor or in tents.

Day 11 :  At Lingshi local excursion up to 4,500 m (15 k.m.) – 04 hrs.

A Day excursion to Tshokha (lake) i.e., base camp for Jichu Drake. During the excursion, it is possible to see hundreds of Blue Sheep and Musk Deer.

Day 12 : Trek to Shodu 3,963 m (22 k.m.) – 08 hrs.

The trail ascends up to the Yalila Pass (4820 m.) from the Mount Jhumolhari. On a clear day, Tserim Kang and Masagang can be seen. Camp is in a stone shelter.

Day 13 : Trek to Barshong 3,785 m (13 k.m.) – 04 hrs.

Follow the Thimphu Chu River through the thick forest of Rhododendrons and waterfalls. It narrows and closes in and the trail winds up and down along the waterway. Ascending up to the ruins of Barshong dzong, camp is just below the ruined dzong with a stone shelter.

Day 14 : Trek to Dolam Kencho 3,628 m (11 k.m) – 04 hrs.

The morning walk leads to a long descent to meet Thimphu River following gradually through the forest of rhododendrons and ascending up to the pastureland for overnight camp in a meadow.

Day 15 : Trek and drive to Thimphu 2,320m – 05 hrs.

Our journey continues with an uphill to a small pass and then the trail winds up and down along the waterway. Wild animals, such as the Languor, can be seen. At Dodina, meet the transportation vehicle for the drive to Thimpu and a in a nice comfortable hotel.

Day 16 : At Thimphu for guided tour and sight seeing.

At Thimphu a full day of sightseeing and shopping, wandering in the town, visiting the Handicraft Development Center, and afternoon time visit of Memorial Chorten, and Zilukha Nunnery.

Day 17 : Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.

Depending upon the flight time to Kathmandu or other respective destination route, our Bhutan guide will transfer you to Paro airport for the flight back to your respective destination to connect with your other international flight to Delhi onwards or back to Kathmandu, on reaching Kathmandu airport Team Himalaya staff will meet for a transfer back to respective hotels.

Day 18 : International departure homeward bound.

Last day in Nepal with a wonderful memorable time in the Himalayas of Bhutan and Nepal with Team Himalaya and transfer to the airport for the flight back home or to respective destination.

Dear Guest and Travelers to Nepal and other Himalayan destinations, please make sure that you have understood our Terms and conditions, after having read carefully the mutual contract and legal process, which will certainly keep our friendly relation between us for the long term.

After selecting the trip of your choice from our varied programs and itineraries, the first step in the booking procedure you are requested to fill out our booking form and send it after completion with 20 % as a non-refundable deposit for the entire Nepal Trip.

Along with the completed form, you are required to e-mail your passport copy and flight Ticket with all details to us in the Kathmandu office at Team Himalaya (info@teamhimalaya.com).

Upon receiving your passport copy and details with the completed booking form Plus your non-refundable deposit, we will proceed and send you a final affirmation receipt with acknowledgment.

All deposits are required for selected and chosen trips on per per-person basis, we will inform you by e-mail regarding the direct deposit procedure and details.

As per the booking and Trip money transfer, service charges of respective banks might apply and they should be paid at the time of deposit.

We will e-mail you the details on making payments through your credit card once you have filled up the Booking form.

We accept Visa or MasterCard only with a 4% surcharge added as a processing fee on credit cards and wire Transfers as a service charged by the Banks.

The Condition for clearing the remaining balance as per the trip booked is as follows:

The remaining due balance for all Nepal Trips should be paid and cleared upon arrival.

The remaining balance for other Himalayan countries like Bhutan, and Tibet, and all multi-country tours needs to be cleared within 35 days prior to your trip departure dates.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd reserves the right to cancel your trip if the full amount is not paid on time.

In certain circumstances, we will accept your last-hour booking a minimum of a week prior to the tour departure date for all the trips, in this case, full payment is required.

03: Refund & Cancellation:

No refund will be made by the company for the 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of your trip for any whatsoever or other reasons.

After having paid the full amount of any selected trip, you are entitled to incur a refund in case you want to cancel your trip by informing us earliest as possible to make the charge reasonable as per the company rules and regulations.

Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you have imposed a cancellation charge as advised below:-

60 days or more deposit retained
45 – 50 days before departure 50%
30 – 40 days before departure 75%
20 days before departure 100%

04: Extra Supplement Charge:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd tour/trek packages, rooms, or tents are provided on twin sharing basis. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed as extra for a client who does not have another tour participant to share a room/tent with. It also applies to clients who need a single supplement in tents/rooms in a hotel or lodge.

05: Early return from any Tours or Treks:

No refund will be entertained to clients on early return from our trips due to personal domestic/medical or personal problems from any other trips regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

06: Amendment in Trip Cost:

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserves the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted on our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance, changes in exchange rate, government action, etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.

07: Unforeseen Circumstances:

If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable climate, broken trail, and roads, etc., we will refer you for an alternative trip of similar types and standard.

Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your likes and interests, all trip prices paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.

Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

08:  Travel / Medical Insurance:

We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as a compulsion in all our tours and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour/trekking/climbing/rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

09: Health & Fitness:

All our Treks and Tours require sound health and a level of fitness before signing the booking with us, the client should always check with your local Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departs to Himalayan destinations.

It’s solely the client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.

Children and Elderly people:

An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.

A person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member, or friends to accompany him/her.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:

It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months of validity from the return date of travel.

Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are the sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.

11: Risk and Liabilities:

Team Himalaya's main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignments sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel hassle-free without any problems.

Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, the trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival, sickness or accidents, etc. Any extra cost incurred there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.

Flight Delay/Cancellation:

Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.

Trekking in remote areas or in as described above, especially during the off-season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences.

In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to bear accommodation and food costs yourself.

12: Our Responsible Adventure Policy:

Our entire tour/trekking guide representing Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions deserves all authority during tours and trekking/rafting or on climbs.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions will ensure to make every effort comfortable and satisfactory in all our trips, but one must understand that Himalayan or Third World and Developing Countries like Nepal cannot afford much of Western and highly timed facilities sometimes depending upon the area of travel, however, we will try our best to make your travel enjoyable with memorable time while with us.

Weather is another factor that directly impacts some trips, hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm, and proper preparation before heading is a must.

Your personal belongings:

On any account, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage/luggage or property even when it is shouldered by our porters, ponies, or vehicles. Our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions so that this does not arise while with us.

Papers & Documents:

All necessary papers and documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visas, necessary permits, etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not being completed in time before the trip departs in the absence of essential papers and documents.
