Annapurna Base Camp Heli Trek commences from Pokhara after we have a short flight or a drive (8-9 hrs) from Kathmandu. Pokhara itself is a tourist hub with natural blessings like falls and lakes. We further drive to Nayapool which is the beginning point of our hiking. We begin to hike through beautiful country settlements and vegetations. The lush rhododendron covering the entire hill is mesmerizing. It is more beautiful during March and April. We gradually ascend to Ullery via Tikhedhunga. The thousands of stone steps all the way up will be challenging to the trekkers at Ullery. However, the climb will be pleasant. Then, we get to two popular vantage points, Ghorepani and Poonhill. These two points offer us alluring views of Annapurna-I, Annapurna-Iv, Gangapurna, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Dhaulagiri.

Gear required depending upon the season of travel as well and grade of travel and trekking as Nepal is for all season except the wet months of July to mid-September where few travelers visit Nepal.
For Simple Sightseeing Tours in Kathmandu and beyond:
Personal Toiletries, a small day pack or bags to carry your personal belonging that’s water bottles, camera, wallets, maps, journey/notebooks, cell phones, light jackets or fleece and insect repellent cream as per the season.
Running /sports shoes or comfortable shoes for short walks, for elderly people walking poles, personal medication, binoculars as option, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, trousers (while entering temples and monasteries) sunscreens.
Sun Hats, Sunglasses, for long drives soft inflatable cushion/pillow is advisable as options and rain proof or umbrella.
For Moderate Hikes and Treks:

Sun Hats, Sunglasses, water bottles are necessary (try to avoid plastic bottled waters as they make litters which is hard to recycle in Nepal) use the same waterfalls for refills you bottle where available, rainproof or umbrella. Scarf or mask to avoid dust and smokes.
For long Trekking for a week or more above 3,000 meters:
Personal Toiletries, a moderate size day pack or rucksack to carry your personal belonging that’s is travel documents, water bottles, camera, wallets, maps, journey/notebooks, cell phones, light jackets or fleece insect repellent as per the season.
Running/sports shoes, good pair of boots, warm woolen/cotton socks, snow gaiters, rain/windproof gear, walking poles an option, personal medication, binoculars an option, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, trousers (while entering temples and monasteries) sunscreens, torch/flashlights.
Gloves, Woolen Beni (camp) Sun Hats, Sun/snow glasses, water bottles are necessary (try to avoid plastic bottled waters as they make litters which is hard to recycle in Nepal) use the same waterfalls for refills where available. Scarf or mask to avoid dust and smokes.
On trekking, bigger kit/duffel bags are carried by porters/pack animals (yaks, mules or ponies) which include your heavy personal gear that is sleeping bags, down / duvet jackets and the items that you do require during daytime on walks till designated campsites/lodge.

Trips Booking & Payment:
After selecting the trip of your choice from our varied programs and itineraries, first step on booking procedure you are requested to fill our booking form and send after completion with 20 % as deposit for entire Nepal Trips, as for Tibet & Bhutan trips 40 % non-refundable deposit.
Along with the completed form, you are required to e-mail your passport copy and flight Ticket with all detail to us in Kathmandu office at Team Himalaya (info@teamhimalaya.com) .
On receiving your passport copy and detail with completed booking form Plus your non-refundable deposit, then we will proceed and send you a final affirmation receipt with acknowledgment.
All deposit required for selected and chosen trip as per person basis, we will inform you by e-mail regarding direct deposit procedure and details.
As per the booking and Trip money transfer, service charge of respective banks might apply and it should be paid at the time of deposit.
We will e-mail you the details on making payments through your credit card once you have filled up the Booking form.
We accept Visa or MasterCard only with 4% surcharge will be added as processing fee on credit card and wire Transfer as service charged by the Banks.
The Condition for clearing the remaining balance as per the trip booked is as follow:
The remaining due and balance for all Nepal Trips should be paid and cleared upon arrival.
The remaining balance for other Himalayan countries like Bhutan, Tibet and all multi-country tours needs to be cleared within 35 days prior to your trip departure dates.
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd reserves the right to cancel your trip if the full amount is not paid on time.
In certain circumstances we will accept your last hour booking minimum a week prior to tour departure date for all the trips, in this case full payment is required.

03: Refund & Cancellation:
No refund will be made by the company for 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of your trip for any what so or other reasons.
After having paid full amount of any selected trip, you are entitled to incur refund in case if you want to cancel your trip by informing us earliest as possible to make the charge reasonable as per the company rules and regulation.
Still, cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you are imposed cancellation charge as advised below:-
60 days or more deposit retained
45 – 50 days before departure 50%
30 – 40 days before departure 75%
20 days before departure 100%
04: Extra Supplement Charge:
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed as extra to client who does not have another tour participant to share room / tent with. It also applies to clients who need single supplement in tents / rooms in hotel or lodge.
05: Early return from any Tours or Treks:
No refund will be entertained to clients on early return from our trips due to personal domestic / medical or personal problem from any other trips regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
06: Amendment in Trip Cost:
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserve the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted at our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.
07: Unforeseen Circumstances:
If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like, natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable worse climate, broken trail and roads etc., we will refer you for alternative trip of similar types and standard.
Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your like and interest, all trip price paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.
Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
08: Travel / Medical Insurance:
We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients to acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as compulsion in all our tour and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour / trekking / climbing / rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.
09: Health & Fitness:
All our Treks and Tours require sound health and level of fitness before signing with the booking with us, client requires should always check with your local Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departures to Himalayan destinations.
It’s solely client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.
Children and Elderly person:
An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.
Person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member or friends to accompany he / she.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:
It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date of travel.
Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.
11: Risk and Liabilities:
Team Himalaya main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignment sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel Free without any problems.
Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as land-slides, road block, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents etc. Any extra cost incurring there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.
Flight Delay/Cancellation:
Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.
Trekking in the remote areas or in as described above, especially during off season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare with some delays and avoid frustrating consequence.
In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to borne accommodation and food costs yourself.
12: Our Responsible Adventure Policy:
Our entire tour / trekking guide representing Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions deserve all authority during tours and trekking / rafting or on climb .
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions will ensure to make every effort comfortable and satisfactory in all our trips, but one must understand that Himalayan or Third World and Developing Countries like Nepal cannot afford much of Western and highly timed facilities sometimes depending upon the area of travel, however we will try our best to make your travel enjoyable with memorable time while with us.
Weather is another factor that directly impact on some trips, hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm and proper preparation before head is must.
Your personal belongings:
On any account, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage / luggage or property even when it is shouldered by our porters, ponies or vehicles. Our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions that this does not arise while with us.
Papers & Documents:
All necessary papers and documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
The trek was moderate except for the high steep ups and down and the long stone steps. Which was quite tiring, but it was well worth the effort an exciting walk to Annapurna Base Camp and the scenic Sanctuary. A beautiful trek apart from ups and downhill path, on this trek few areas with flat gradual trail.
Having much rest in between made the trekking enjoyable as well stopping for spectacular views. Overall the trek to Annapurna Base Camp was wonderful an amazing country walking in the heart of Annapurna Himalayas.
The trek was too good, thanks to Team Himalaya for arranging Annapurna base camp with return by Heli. Which made it far easier walking down and few steep up.
The trek with so much to enjoy the views and local cultures, certainly one of the most exciting and beautiful adventure. Enjoyed every hour of the walk to Annapurna Base Camp and being around scenic Sanctuary. The walk however lead to steep uphill, but in the end it was pleasant staying in nice simple lodges. We were surprised that a cozy lodges with good foods existed
at Annapurna Base Camp. It must be a wonder that a comfort of lodge at ABC must be the only 8,000 meters mountains base camp. Having facilities of a good lodge and foods an amazing and wonderful place to experience.
Thanks to Team Himalaya for all the best services with expert guide and happy porters, the flight from ABC was short and scenic. Enjoyed every moments of the trek and being in the comfort of Helicopter back to Pokhara.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserve the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted at our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.
07: Unforeseen Circumstances:
If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like, natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable worse climate, broken trail and roads etc., we will refer you for alternative trip of similar types and standard.
Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your like and interest, all trip price paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.
Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
08: Travel / Medical Insurance:
We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients to acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as compulsion in all our tour and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour / trekking / climbing / rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.
09: Health & Fitness:
All our Treks and Tours require sound health and level of fitness before signing with the booking with us, client requires should always check with your local Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departures to Himalayan destinations.
It’s solely client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.
Children and Elderly person:
An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.
Person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member or friends to accompany he / she.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:
It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date of travel.
Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.
11: Risk and Liabilities:
Team Himalaya main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignment sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel Free without any problems.
Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as land-slides, road block, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents etc. Any extra cost incurring there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.
Flight Delay/Cancellation:
Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.
Trekking in the remote areas or in as described above, especially during off season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare with some delays and avoid frustrating consequence.
In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to borne accommodation and food costs yourself.
12: Our Responsible Adventure Policy:
Our entire tour / trekking guide representing Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions deserve all authority during tours and trekking / rafting or on climb .
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions will ensure to make every effort comfortable and satisfactory in all our trips, but one must understand that Himalayan or Third World and Developing Countries like Nepal cannot afford much of Western and highly timed facilities sometimes depending upon the area of travel, however we will try our best to make your travel enjoyable with memorable time while with us.
Weather is another factor that directly impact on some trips, hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm and proper preparation before head is must.
Your personal belongings:
On any account, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage / luggage or property even when it is shouldered by our porters, ponies or vehicles. Our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions that this does not arise while with us.
Papers & Documents:
All necessary papers and documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
The trek was moderate except for the high steep ups and down and the long stone steps. Which was quite tiring, but it was well worth the effort an exciting walk to Annapurna Base Camp and the scenic Sanctuary. A beautiful trek apart from ups and downhill path, on this trek few areas with flat gradual trail.
Having much rest in between made the trekking enjoyable as well stopping for spectacular views. Overall the trek to Annapurna Base Camp was wonderful an amazing country walking in the heart of Annapurna Himalayas.
The trek was too good, thanks to Team Himalaya for arranging Annapurna base camp with return by Heli. Which made it far easier walking down and few steep up.

The trek with so much to enjoy the views and local cultures, certainly one of the most exciting and beautiful adventure. Enjoyed every hour of the walk to Annapurna Base Camp and being around scenic Sanctuary. The walk however lead to steep uphill, but in the end it was pleasant staying in nice simple lodges. We were surprised that a cozy lodges with good foods existed
at Annapurna Base Camp. It must be a wonder that a comfort of lodge at ABC must be the only 8,000 meters mountains base camp. Having facilities of a good lodge and foods an amazing and wonderful place to experience.
Thanks to Team Himalaya for all the best services with expert guide and happy porters, the flight from ABC was short and scenic. Enjoyed every moments of the trek and being in the comfort of Helicopter back to Pokhara.
