Overviews

Nepal and Tibet, where a caravan route passes through Upper Mustang before continuing on to South Western Tibet, where trade across the two countries' boundaries continues today much as it has for hundreds of years.
Team Himalaya's amazing journey to Dhampus/Thapa Peak and Hidden Valley continues as it passes through the charming Marpha village, famous for its apple orchards and products, as well as the lovely traditional villages and towns of Beni, Tatopani, Ghasa, and Tukuche. The villages are rich in ancient cultures and Buddhist religions, and you can visit their ancient monasteries. After a few days of fun, the group departs from the human settlement for complete wilderness and travels to the remote. Trekkers must traverse the 5,250-meter-high Dhampus/Thapa pass, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Our Team Himalaya expert guides will lead you to the summit of Dhampus / Thapa Peak at 6, 012 meters high after a few days of acclimatization and preparation. Although the climb is rated PD +, it is a straightforward climb with some technical sections to overcome. Our guides will pave the climbing route by fixing ropes and creating ice ledges to make it more accessible for the climb. After admiring the views from the summit and feeling like you are on top of the world, descend using the same route and trek to Marpha and Jomsom before taking a charming flight down to Pokhara and Kathmandu. This is the end of an exciting and once-in-a-lifetime trip with Team Himalaya.
