The trail, first conquered by the German Expedition in 1955 quickly gain popularity among the aspiring mountaineers. Its popularity has sky rocketed in the recent year among the trekkers as well since this trail gives trekker the feeling of mountaineering. Thus, it’s better if you have some technical knowledge about handling gears like ropes, crampons, tying knot, harness ice axe etc. if you don’t have prior knowledge, don’t worry, we will held a short training session on how to use theses equipments. With an experienced and calm guide you can easily ascend this peak.

Located at north part from Annapurna base camp trekking in nepal , the Chulu East Peak Climbing route winds around Annapurna massif, passing through Marshyandgi valley, the Thorong La before and Kali Gandaki valley. Most of the days, we will tramp through the extreme alpine environments. We will stop in villages to have meals and spend nights. Most of the parts of this area is dominated by the Gurung People which will provide us opportunities to taste their ethnic foods, discover their lifestyle, culture and traditions.

From your arrival to your departure, we will assist you in every step, from managing NMA permit to arranging other necessary equipments. There is no hard and fast rule when it comes to enjoying your vacation so we have prepared a flexible package that can be adjusted as per your need.
Day 01: Arrival: Our airport representatives will pick you from the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel for refreshment. In the evening we will meet again for the briefing of the trek and welcome dinner. Taste the typical Nepali cuisine then spend a night at a hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation: Today we will roam around the Kathmandu valley, a cultural hub in a true sense. The city is filled with temples, shrines and monasteries. We will start our day by visiting Pashupatinath, a holy Hindu temple. Set on the bank of holy river Bagmati, the complex receive thousands of devotees every day. The major attraction of the temple is ‘evening’s aarati’. However we won’t be able to witness that. Since only the Hindus can enter the temple, non-Hindu can have vistas of this temple from far. We will then head to Bouddhanath, a popular tourist destination, located on the outskirt of the city. The major attraction of this place is a large shrine, prayers wheels, prayers flags and small souvenir shops. After having a lunch there, we will head to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The palace houses a number of ancient temples and houses reflecting the Newari architect. We will see the house of Kumari ‘a living goddess’ and a museum. Our next destination is Swayambhunath. It is a sacred place for Buddhist and Tibetan. The complex offers bird’s view of the Kathmandu city. Popularly known as a Money Temple, it houses a number of shrines, temples and monkeys. After navigating the Kathmandu city, we will head to our office where we will train you to use the gears such as ropes, crampons, tying knot, harness ice axe etc. We then transfer you to your hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar by tourist bus and trek to Bhulbhule: Post breakfast, we will began our journey to Besisahar. The seven to eight hours scenic drive gives you the idea of what to expect. In Beshisahar, we will meet the rest of our team then head to Bhulbhule. We will walk though the dusty, graveled road for few minutes then a scenic trail featuring lush paddy field and Marshyangdi river for next hour. Overnight stay at a hotel in Bhulbhule.
Day 4: Trek from Bhulbhule to Jagat: Our trek start with following the descending trial from Bahundada. Crossing a small stream followed by a gentle climb take us to a small village called Hani Gaon. After crossing Syange village and walking along the river for few minutes, we will ascent on steep trail for some hours then descend to Jagat. We will spend the rest of the time exploring the small village. After a luscious meal, we will take rest in a hotel.
Day 05: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani: Most of the trail passes through cliffs accompanied by the river on the side. The cascading waterfalls and the vistas of snow-dusted mountains towering in the distance will make our tramp more mesmerizing. We will walk through lush forests, grassy lands, suspension bridges, and rocky trails. After ascending and descending for around seven hours we will reach Dharapani. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 06: Trek from Dharapani to Chame: In the first few hours, we will walk through a number of mountain villages. We then climb for next few hours. The hard work will be rewarded by the first up close view of panoramic mountains surrounding us. The trail is dotted with player’s flags, villages, rhododendron and pine forests and a giant waterfall. Kotho, a small hamlet provides a clear view of Annapurna II. A short hike from here will take us to Chame. We can see a number of hot springs here. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 7: Trek from Chame to Pisang: We start our day with a glorious view of Lamjung Himal. Leaving Chame behind, we walk on a relatively easy trail before crossing suspension bridge over Marsyangdhi river. We will walk through barley field, village amid apple orchid and small hamlets. We will spend a night at a hotel.
Day 8: Trek from Pisang to Manang: Post breakfast, we will climb the ridge boosting mesmerizing views of Manang valley and Tilicho Peak in distance. The trail then lead to a plain land and traverse through a small village called Mungji and Braga. On the way, we will have a glimpse of Annapurna I, II, IV, Tilicho peak and Gangapurna. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 9: Acclimatization Day in Manang: Today we will embark into a short hike to Ice Lake. It is barely thirty minutes walk from Manang. Spending some time enjoying the view ad taking pictures we will head back to the village then explore it. Here we will get a number of modern facilities from restaurants to coffee shops, to movie theaters. We will spend a night at a hotel.
Day 10: Trek from Manang to Chauri Leddar: As we move up, the weather gets drier and we can see trees fading slowly and replaced by small plants. The more we move up more weather gets drier. The view of Annapurna III is the major attraction of today’s trek. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 11: Trek from Chauri Leddar to Chulu East Base Camp: Dramatic landscapes, steep tails, rocky cliffs and moraines are today’s trek attraction. We will walk over the Nagwal village. It will take us seven to eight hours to reach Chulu East Base Camp. Overnight stay in a tent. We will have our lunch, dinner and breakfast in the tent.
Day 12: Trek from Chulu East Base Camp to High Camp: Today we will walk on the rarely treaded path. We will walk through the moraine and set our camp below the ridge. We will spend rest of the day exploring the place. Dinner and overnight stay in a tent.
Day 13: Acclimatization day in High Camp: Today we will spend the day exploring the high camp. We will practice how to handle the gears once again so that we can easily ascend the peak next day. We will spend a night in a tent.
Day 14: Trek from High Camp to summit – Hike back to Chulu East Base Camp: Today is the ‘D’ day. Today we will be on the top of the Chulu East Peak. We will walk on a snowy trail till we reach summit. With a little skill, we will conquer the summit easily. After enjoying the view of majestic alps and fascinating Manang valley from the top, we will head back to Chulu East Base Camp. We will have a dinner and spend a night in a tent.
Day 15: Trek from Chulu East Base Camp to Thorung Phedi: Exiting Chulu East Base Camp, we will tread to Chauri Ledar. Trail leads up to the ridge then head down to the Marshyangdi river. Crossing the river, we will head to the mountain trail. We will walk into the steep slope then tread to Thorung Phedi. We will spend a night at a hotel after a delectable meal.
Day 16: Trek from Thorung Phedi to Muktinath via Thorung La Pass: We will start today’s trek early in the morning. Leaving Thorung Phedi behind, we will ascend on a steep trail. Walking on this trail we will come across chorten and prayers flags. From the top we will have panoramic view of mountains above and hills of mustang below. We will descend then walk alongside the Jhong Khola Valley to Muktinath. Muktinath is holy place housing a number of shrines and temples. After exploring the valley, we will spend a night at a hotel.
Day 17: Drive from Muktinath to Pokhara: After an early morning breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara. The 7-8 hours ride will take us through the off-beat road with mountains views so close. We will have lunch on the way. If time permit, we will spend some time strolling around the lake side. We have literally triumphed the rugged mountains, it’s time for celebration. We will spend our evening enjoying our victory. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 18: Free Day in Pokhara: Today we will spend our day exploring one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal. We will sail on the Fewa Lake, visit Tal Barahi: set on the middle of the lake, visit Davis Falls, navigate caves and stroll in the lake side. After a delicious typical Nepali meal, we will call it a day.
Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: We will catch a tourist bus early in the morning. Within few hours we will be in Kathmandu. You may stroll around the local market and buy souvenirs or spends the rest of the day taking rest. We will meet in the evening for a farewell dinner. Spend a night at a cozy hotel.
Day 20: Departure: Our airport representative will pick you from your hotel and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport three-hours prior your flight time. It’s time to bid a final good bye. We hope you enjoy your stay. Hope we will get to serve you again in future
