Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu received by Team Himalaya staff.
On arrival meet our TH staff for courtesy transfer to respective hotels in the heart of Kathmandu at Thamel area, an interesting place for shopping and having meals in one of the many world class restaurants, pubs and bakery.
Our guide will inform on details regarding trip Festival tour of Bhutan with full information as per the itinerary.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning after breakfast at given time our city and cultural guide will guide you in and around Kathmandu at places of interest and importance, as Kathmandu Valley is full of World Heritage Sites the holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, preparation for the trip Festival Tour of Bhutan.

Day 03: Fly to Paro-Bhutan via Druk Air and transfer to hotel.
As per the flight time for Paro, Bhutan, Team Himalaya staff will transfer you to Kathmandu international airport for a nice and scenic flight to Paro on reaching at Paro airport after immigration and visa formalities our Bhutan guide will meet and receives you in a Bhutanese traditional way and for the drive to respective hotels in Paro, with afternoon free at leisure.

Day 04: In Paro 2,280m / 7,524 ft for sightseeing tour.
Soon after breakfast our Bhutan guide will receive you at the hotel, for a nice and pleasant walk with an hour or less climb up on slow easy pace to a famous Taksang Monastery (Tiger’s nest). Offering amazing views of Paro and distance snow capped peaks, after a wonderful time here descend by the same route, afternoon visit of 17th centaury Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967.

Day 05: Drive to Thimphu 2,320m / 7,656ft (54 k.m.) – 02 hrs.
After an interesting time at Paro, morning two hours scenic interesting drive to a modern capital of Bhutan in Thimphu ( the only city in the world without a traffic lights) , on reaching at Thimphu check in at respective hotels, after lunch visit the memorial stupa, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine is still practiced and the painting school.

Day 06: In Thimphu sightseeing tour and observe the festival.
In Thimphu full day of interesting tour, visit the famous Thimphu Festival, Weekend market, Mini Zoo and Tashichoo Dzong, hike to Cheri Monastery, visit hand made paper factory, 13 Arts and Crafts institute, museums, see people playing archery, stroll around the cit and a night in down town Thimphu.

Day 07- 08: Drive to Bumthang 2,600 m / 8,580 ft. 06 hrs journey.
After a nice time at Thimphu drive to Bumthang. These two days engrossed with colorful festival and tour, the Famous Naked Festival and Prakar Festival, Jakar Dzong, handloom shops, Tamzing Monastery, Kurjey temple, burning lake and Ura Valley/Ogyen Chholing Palace

Day 09: Drive back to Thimphu 198 k.m. -05 hrs journey.
After a great time at Bumthang drive to Thimphu on route, a visit of Punakha town, the old capital of Bhutan, then arriving at Thimphu for overnight stay, here check into same hotel or similar.

Day 10: Drive back to Paro on route visit Simtokh Dzong.
From Thimphu with pleasant short stay at Butan’s capital, afternoon drive back to Paro, on the way visit of a fort built in 1927-29 by Shabdung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified the Kingdom. After a nice wonderful drive and visits of interesting places of interest reaching back at Paro with time for a tour of Simtokh Dzong another Fort of Paro.

Day 11: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.
Depending upon the flight time to Kathmandu or other respective destination route, our Bhutan guide will transfer you to Paro airport for the flight back to respective destination to connect with your other international flight to Delhi onwards or back to Kathmandu, on reaching Kathmandu airport Team Himalaya staff will meet for a transfer back to respective hotels.

Day 12: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
We have reserved this day to relax and enjoy your last day in Kathmandu with another sightseeing tour in and around Kathmandu at places of interest and importance, as Kathmandu Valley is full of World Heritage Sites the holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to hotel.

Day 13: International departure homeward bound.
Last day in Nepal with wonderful memorable time in the Himalaya of Bhutan and Nepal with Team Himalaya and transfer to airport for the flight back home or to respective destination.
